We have no openings at this time, but we always welcome resumes from those with restoration experience, as outlined below.

The level of jobs at hand requires a proficiency in the repair of no-longer-available components. Willingness and a desire to understand technology that is a half-century old are paramount. The repair of all components must meet the guidelines that were the standard when these cars were first built. Our completed cars are not only beautiful, they meet original specifications in function and authenticity. Your ability to persevere as you diagnose and solve a mechanical problem will be your challenge and your reward.

Since 1978 we have been passionately dedicated to the preservation of fine automobiles. A quick tour through our site offers a sampling of some of the outstanding cars to which we have had the honor to apply our craftsmanship. The projects that we undertake range from basic maintenance and service work in preparation for running the Colorado Grand 1000 rally to complete ‘every nut and bolt’ restorations of historic cars for the Pebble Beach Concours. We are very serious about performing each aspect of our work correctly, and preserving the historical authenticity of each car wherever possible.

Offers of employment typically include paid holidays and vacations plus a flexible benefits plan consisting of medical insurance, short-term disability, life insurance, a Section 125/132 Cafeteria plan, a 401K plan, and profit sharing. Our current staff has joined us from overseas and across the country. We have a friendly, small business atmosphere.

Our workshop is located about 20 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts in Essex, a New England colonial seacoast town known for its history of building the great wooden fishing schooners. For more information on the area, we recommend these local web sites: www.cape-ann.com and www.essexma.com.

You may fax a summary of your work experience to 978-768-3523, call us at 978-768-6919, or .

“The fine art of automobile restoration demands ingenuity, resourcefulness, high technical skill, and a feeling for machinery not too far removed from love.”
